cyber bullying
A Queensland Government campaign to tackle the growing problem of cyber bullying.
the challenge
With young people increasingly connecting with peer groups and others online through a variety of social media applications and websites, the risk of exposure to cyberbullying also increases. Cyberbullying, trolling, and cyberstalking are worryingly unique in that they can be persistent, permanent, and hard to detect and police. One post, meme, or video can spread very quickly and be seen by many, many people.
the idea
Two campaigns born from real responses to cyberbullying. One campaign aimed at kids to empower them to swipe it away and a second campaign aimed at their parents letting them know intervening doesn’t always help. Sometimes, you just need to be there for them.
